What I Learned

        Although it was not my first time seeing the movie version of the Les Miserables musical, there was still plenty of new information that I was able to absorb. I learnt while watching the film version of the musical that there are lots of characters and roles and that it will be very interesting to see how the musical turns out. I also learned that religion is a very big theme in the musical and is very prominent in certain parts of the musical. For example Bring Him Home is entirely a prayer to God, and a very religious piece. On the other hand a lot of the schoolboys scenes were not very religious, for example the The Night is about drinking, and friendship rather than God. There were many things I discovered while watching the film.
